Shivangi Sarma of Assam and Khushi Dinesh of Karnataka bagged the third gold medal each in the swimming competition at the Khelo India Youth Games 2020 in Guwahati on Saturday.

Haryana on Monday turned 12 golds in four days of the Khel India Youth Games in Guwahati to take Maharashtra to the top of the medal tally. With four golds in Kabaddi, three golds in Archery and Athletics, and one gold each in Cycling and Gymnastics, Haryana topped the list from Day 6 with 1 gold.

Maharashtra finished second out of 16 in just four golds on Monday. It has a total of 71 medals. Defending champion Maharashtra's under-21 gymnast Edit Ajit Dandekar and his 4x100m relay quartet served well, but they could only watch as they went to bat in the Haryana Games.



Haryana dominated kabaddi but was surprisingly carried on the wire by Himachal Pradesh in the women’s under-21 final. The hill state rallied with a six-point deficit at half-time to tie the score at 27-27 at the end of regulation time.
