Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana 2020 in Gujarat
Many students cannot fulfill their desire to get a higher degree due to lack of money. Some of these students are from poor families or are facing difficult times due to the death of an earning member of the family. Gujarat State Government has come forward with a special scheme for needy students. With the implementation of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, the government will provide money to needy students to meet the needs of educational courses.
Key features of the scheme
State-Sponsored Scheme - The scheme has been designed and developed by the Gujarat State Government. Its funding and implementation will be specialized by the state authorities.
Special facility for government employees - All candidates whose parents are professionally associated with the state government will be given 5 years age benefit.
Grants for Backward Classes - There are many regions in the state where students do not have the facility to stay in educational institutions. If a candidate has got admission in an institution like this, he / she has to pay Rs. 1200 for a period of 10 months. Money will help them find adequate accommodation.
Providing other educational assistance - In addition to financial assistance for pursuing higher education, 10th and 12th standard candidates will also receive additional grants for purchasing books and other supplies.
All students in the state - The state government will not discriminate on the basis of student, religion, caste, gender or sex. They must meet the eligibility criteria, which are mentioned below.
Criteria of eligibility of the scheme
Only for the residents of Gujarat - Mulamantri Yuva Swavalamban Scholarship Scheme has been created for the development and assistance of the resident students of the State of Gujarat. Thus, only candidates who live within the state limits and get education will be able to register.
Income Criteria - It is mentioned in the draft of this scheme that only those students will get the benefit of the scheme whose annual family income is Rs. 4.5 lakh.
Criteria for 10th and 12th class students - The guideline also states that students studying in 10th or 12th class will also be able to avail the scholarship only if they secure 90% in the final examinations.
Listed subjects will be covered - The state government provides financial assistance to selected students only if they follow any of the courses listed under the scheme.
Scheme Scholarship Rules
Grants for Medical Research and Dental Courses - Candidates who have been selected for any Medical Research Institute or any Dental College Lodge will have the opportunity to get a grant of Rs. 10 lakhs from the Government to meet their educational expenses. This money will be given for a period of 5 years.
Grants for other courses - The state government has stated that students pursuing higher education in subjects like Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Homeopathy, Engineering and Ayurveda are eligible for a grant of Rs 50,000 if they are selected in the state. Run a university or college college.
Grant for 10th and 12th Toppers - Scholarship Scheme also states that the state will also give awards to 10th and 12th Toppers if they get more than 90% and wish to pursue higher education. 25,000.
B.A., Bed or B.Sc. Grants for - B.Sc, B.A. in private or government college colleges. Or students admitted under bed courses will also be assisted by the state.

Important documents required for the plan
Proof of residency - such benefits will be given only to students who are residents of Gujarat; All applicants must attach a copy of their residency papers to the registration form.
Notarized Affidavit - All applicants must also provide a notarized affidavit. The affidavit should be done on non-judicial stamp paper costing Rs. 20 only.
Admission and Fee Papers - Students will have to submit all the papers related to the papers they are doing business. Along with the admission papers, applicants will also have to submit a receipt of the admission fee.
Hostel Accommodation Papers - In addition to the course fees, the state authority will also provide financial assistance to the applicant to pay for hostel accommodation. For this, hostel admission documents and receipt of accommodation fee must also be attached with the registration form.
Certificate of Income - As income-related criteria, applicants will also have to attach a copy of the income certificate with the application form.
Bank Account Details - All grants or scholarship money will be transferred to the bank account of the student or his / her parents. For this, account number, bank and branch name etc. must be given along with the form.
Scheme registration process
Application Online Application Process:
If any candidate wants to get financial assistance from the state government, he has to click on the link mysy.guj.nic.in. It will give students access to the official site of the scheme.
Once the home page opens, the "New App" button must be clicked. This button is located at the top right of the page.
By clicking on the link http://mysy.guj.nic.in, students will be able to directly access the online application form.
For all first-time candidates, “If you have not registered, please mark. Click to register ”must be clicked. As soon as the link is clicked, the candidate will get access to the registration form.
Candidates who have already registered and have login details can get access. If a student is enrolling for the first time, he / she has to mention some details in the form.
The student must specify the level of the course, year of admission, the degree under which the degree will be issued, course flow, registration code, date of birth of the student and active mobile number.
Once all these fields are filled, the student must click on the button marked "Get Password".
As soon as the button is clicked, the site will create a unique password for the respective candidate. The password will provide the candidate with access to the rest of the application form.
The next section will require details such as father's name, residential address, information related to the education sector, annual income of the family and related details of the bank account.
After filling the form, the candidate needs to click on the button marked as "Submit".
Once the application form is successfully submitted, the site will issue a MYSY reference code. This unique code can be used to track the status of the application later.

Once the form is downloaded and printed, all fields must be filled in with the correct data.
The student's name, address, contact details, parent's name and gender must be filled in to meet the identity verification requirements. Apart from this, the candidate has to give the details related to the academics like name of the college, course, total fee, hostel fee, hostel address etc.
The student must also state whether he is receiving a grant under any other state or central scheme. In addition, the registration number must be mentioned in the application form.
Once all the details are filled, the candidate has to attach the latest passport size photograph and photocopy of other required documents with the form.
After re-verifying the data entered and signing the application form, it must be submitted to the concerned department of the State Government.
Once verified by the government authority, the selected candidates will be notified accordingly.
According to an estimate, the Gujarat state government will have to pay around Rs 1,000 crore to pay the fees of selected candidates. The implementation of this scheme will equally benefit students in the fields of science, commerce and arts, technology and medicine.
