After which new rules have been implemented for Ahmedabad once again. Officials including Ahmedabad Commissioner Mukesh Kumar and a health officer were present at the meeting. An important decision has been made that after May 15, only online payment can be used for home delivery. Cash on delivery payment cannot be made.
Today's meeting decided that companies like home delivery agencies like D-Mart, Asia Hypermarket, Big Basket, Big Bazaar, Zomoto and Swiggy would have to screen 100 per cent of their delivery staff. And online payments from digital payments such as UPI and other platforms have been made mandatory to prevent the transition of corona through rupee notes. Thus, after May 15, the delivery will be completely cashless and the cash-on-delivery facility will be closed.
Protocols for home delivery have also been announced. In which every delivery boy will be given a health card by AMC. Which will only be valid for 7 days. And after this period the health card has to be renewed. No delivery boy will be able to come from the containment zone. Delivery boy must adhere to gloves, sanitization cap, sanitizer and social distance. Only cashless payments will have to be accepted. Cash on delivery cannot be taken. And all delivery staff will have to download the Health Bridge app to their phones.
cIn addition 100 teams have been formed by AMC. The team will help about 17,000 shopkeepers in the city, including vegetables, fruits, milk and groceries, to install an online payment app on their mobile phones. And will go to every shopkeeper and teach them how to install the app, provide technical support and how to use UPI. Corona virus can stay in the notes for a long time. This cashless payment decision will help prevent Corona.
