National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021) is an initiative by MHRD, Ministry of Humar Resource Development, Government of India. Each year around 1 lakh NMMS scholarships are given to the 2020-2021 students. NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021 Scholarship is awarded to meritorious and deserving students who come from economically poor background. To receive the NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021 award, students have to appear for a written entrance exam for NMMS Scholarship -20-2021. The NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021 exam will be conducted in all the states of India in the month of November and December. How to fill application form for NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021?
NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021 application form will be available online as well as offline on the official website of National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Students who pass the NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021 exam with the minimum required marks will be eligible to receive the scholarship amount. NMMS Scholarship Registration
Fill the NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021 form with all the original details on the official portal for registration. After registration of details, an application ID and password of the candidate will be provided. The application ID and password have to be logged on the portal of NSP to continue with the application form.

After completing the registration of NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021, candidates will have to log in to the official portal using the application ID and password once again. On the official portal screen, the application form of NMMS Scholarship 2020-2021 will ask for more details like educational qualification, date of birth bank details, mail id, address and contact details, school enrollment number, Aadhaar card details, and state domicile. Documents
After providing all the necessary details, check all the details provided and review the application form. Upload all the necessary documents as per the required size and format and all documents asked for like income certificates of parents, caste certificate, aadhaar card, school id card etc. After ensuring everything is okay press the submit button. What is the eligibility criteria for NMMS scholarship 2020-2021?
To get the NMMS scholarship 2020-2021, the students will have to pass the exam conducted by the state government or UT.
The eligibility conditions for the NMMS scholarship 2020-2021 is for senior and higher secondary level
Scholarship is eligible for only Indian students.
Students whose parental income is 1.5 lac annually or less
The students should have a very excellent academic record from Class IX to XII or atleast should have 55% percent marks in the previous classes. For SC./ST relaxation of 5% percent marks.

Categories
There are two categories for student selection. Students of class 9th and 10th will apply under the category of pre-matric scholarship. 11th and 12th grade students will have to register in the category of post matric scholarship
